Most needle tools sold for working with metal clay are actually knotting needles made for stringing beads etc.  Whilst they are perfect for stringing  they drag the clay when cutting out individual shapes.  This tool has been especially developed for metal clay with its extra fine precision tip and cuts through clay like a laser.  We use this tool on our courses and students love them, enabling them to cut out really unusual shapes!  Look how much smaller the point of the clay pick is compared to a pro tip needle tool!  It really does cut through clay like a laser!  Overall length of tool is 6”. 

An 8"x5" Teflon coated workmat which is great for working with silver clay as the clay does not stick to the mat!  The workmat comes with a removable sticky backing which means you can peel it and attach it to a hard worksurface if you prefer.  Usable time and time again, this Teflon coated mat is extremely durable and cleans easily.
