Elaine McDermott - Buckinghamshire, Chununga Tree & Queens Park Art Centre

!

Elaine is a jewellery artist and designer, having worked with both PMC and Art Clay for the past eight years. "I still have the same passion for the material as I did on the day that I opened my first packet and hopefully this is reflected in the classes that I teach.  Having previously worked with ceramic clay it was a wonderful progression/addition to my work.   I love to combine silver clay with ceramic, glass and enamel and love to experiment with various combinations of materials.  I am a Senior Metal Clay Tutor, but I have also undertook a City and Guilds Certificate in training adults. To add to my knowledge of metal clay, I have also attended various courses in silvermithing, ceramics, enamelling and glass to be able to incorporate these in my work as a jewellery designer. For class schedules please see Training Courses on this site or visit www.elainemcdermott.com

Samantha Berman - Buckinghamshire, The Chununga Tree

!
Samantha first started working with PMC in early 2007 and has been totally mesmerised ever since.  She is a firm believer that you continue to learn new techniques all the time and can always be found experimenting with new designs and methods.  With a burning need to learn more, she completed her Diploma course at the Mid Cornwall School of Jewellery in August 2008 gaining her Diploma in Precious Metal Clay Proficiency.  Along with her partner Paul and their two daughters, she exhibits and demonstrates at many craft fairs across the UK whilst maintaining her websites and running PMC workshops in the Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire area.  Workshops are her passion – she loves watching her students’ faces at the transformation of clay into pure silver and she is always developing new workshops to cater for the growing need of her students to learn more and more.  She is a member of the PMC Guild.  Please visit www.saskiaroseworkshops.co.uk
