An experienced teacher, Sarah Jane has trained in both traditional silversmithing skills and in jewellery design, and has been awarded a Diploma in PMC Proficiency by the prestigious Mid-Cornwall School of Jewellery, which included training in effective teaching of silver clay and PMC skills.
Discouraged from artistic endeavours by miserable art classes at school, Sarah Jane believes that we are all creative beings. She is passionate about helping others find and express their own creative voice, and this informs her teaching style, which is friendly, fun and empowering.
Sarah Jane runs inspiring and fun classes in Sussex, with class sizes limited to a maximum of four students, to ensure plenty of individual attention. Course handouts with resources information are included in the course fee. Tuition in hand-making findings (ear-wires, clasps, etc) in sterling silver is also provided in some classes.
