A fully programmable kiln which is lightweight enough to be portable.  Ideal for a small home studio.   This great kiln heats up in minutes to 2000F. It comes with a new door hinge that allows you to open it 180 degrees. The high-tech ceramic firing chamber is wrapped in a steel inner case. The outer surface remains cool due to air circulation between the inner and outer case.  8” x 8” x 5 ¾” interior chamber. 230V 1745W  use on a regular mains socket. Same kiln as the SC-2 except it has a window in the door. Necessary if you need to watch your glass etc. during fusing or slumping. Those who fire PMC may not need the window. Automatic firing at the rate and temperature you enter. A large display prompts for firing rate, temperature, and hold time. Utilizing a 3 key control pad, fires in single segment, single speed, to 1 temperature, 1 hold time, or 2 segment Ramp-Hold (good for fusing). The last firing stays in memory. Fuse glass, silver clay and more! The ceramic chamber is wrapped in a steel inner case, keeping exterior case cooler.7 3/4" deep, and 5 7/8" high.
