Solder Fast Silver

A complete silver solder with flux. 

Solder safely with lead-free, cadmium-free Solder Fast® paste solders. Paste formula is free-flowing at very low temperatures from the heat of a soldering iron or torch and creates a clean, tarnish-free, silver-color joint. Ideal for use with all non-ferrous metals except aluminum. Extremely strong final joint is silver-colored.
• Special flux formulation eliminates additional fluxing; no pickling is required.
• Suitable for professional jewelry work or craft projects.
• Solder up to 144 ear posts with the 14 gram syringe.
• Important: Use Solder Fast in a well-ventilated area. Any low-temperature solder may release toxic fumes if overheated.

Solder Fast for Bronze & Copper

Solder Fast for bronze and copper soldering.

This high-strength thin flowing copper alloy paste joins copper to brass or bronze and can also be used on stainless steel or nickel. The finished joint is silver-color.
• Important: Use Solder Fast® in a well-ventilated area. Any low-temperature solder may release toxic fumes if overheated. An MSDS is available by request.

Content: 80% tin, 5% silver and a flux agent.
• Flow temperature: 435°F (224°C).
• Tensile strength: 9500psi.
• Contains zinc chloride.

Boric Acid

Boric acid is mixed with denatured alcohol to create a solution called fire coat. This boric acid/denatured alcohol mixture protects sterling silver from firescale during heating and soldering. Stir the mixture, swirl the item to be soldered in the firecoat mixture, then ignite it with a lighter to burn away the alcohol. Now you can apply your flux and solder without worry of firescale. 133grm
