Terms

These prices are a guide only.  Areas outside the UK will be shipped by Royal Mail Airmail Service or by courier depending on weight.  We will aim to ship the most econimical.  We will contact you before despatch to confirm shipping costs. Please note; All times of arrival to you are based on the time it is despatched.

All our shipping is tracked and insured with exception to Royal Mail 1st Class which is only insured up to £34 and is not trackable. Please allow 3 to 4 days for delivery by 1st Class mail. Chununga Tree will not liability for amounts over this limit for loss or damage, therefore we strongly advise that large value orders are sent by one of our trackable and insured services..

Areas outside the UK will be shipped by Royal Mail Airsure Track & Trace.

STOCK LEVELS

We aim to keep a high stock level at all times. If however certain items are out of stock at the time of ordering, you will be advised accordingly and give the choice of either an alternative or to have the items placed on backorder which will be despatched to you seperatly once the stock is available. If we cannot complete your backorder a refund will be sent to you.

RETURNS

Business to business transactions—The Sale of Goods Act states that you have the right to return goods if they are not satisfactory quality, not fit for the purpose intended or are not as described.

 To be a business you do not have to have a shop front, headed notepaper or pay tax but merely purchase our products for profit or resale.

Goods for your own use—In addition to the Sale of Goods Act retail customers are also covered by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations. This allows you to return your goods or inform us by letter, fax or email of your intention to cancel your order within a period of seven days of receipt. You are then entitled to a full refund.

Please note returned items must be in perfect unused (i.e. normally unopened) condition.  Replacements or refund over and above our statutory obligations will, of course, be considered, but please be aware that this at our own discretion. We reserve the right to charge a handling fee on discretionary returns.

 COMPLAINTS

If something does go wrong please let us know as quickly as possible. We will do our best to resolve the situation. Please place your complaint in writing either by email or by letter giving full details of your problem. 

 INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Please note that all import taxes are the responsibility of the Purchaser. We do not falsify records or split orders into numerous packages in order to minimise your liability for duty or other payments.

In the event of items being out of stock at the time of ordering, your order will be amended accordingly and shipping adjusted.  We regret that back orders are not available for our International customers.

 TITLE TO GOODS

All goods supplied by The Chununga Tree remain our property until all outstanding payments are made in full.

 PRICE UPDATES

We do aim to keep our customers up to date with any price changes or alterations to the web shop or retail/wholsale listings. Sometimes  new listings are not always received by customers for various reasons, we therefore recommend that you check up to date prices before purchasing.
